Major Scales

In this section I teach you how to play your major scales with the proper fingering and technique. Without doing this properly, you will find it more difficult to move effectively and quickly across the keyboard.

Chromatic Scale

Every great musician needs the chromatic scale. As you begin to solo and connect musical riffs, this scale will become your best friend. We all could use a best friend at times. 

Triads

By learning your triads will be equipped with the primary structure of harmony. Knowing what these chords are, how to play them, and how they sound will change your approach to the piano. 

 

Seventh Chords

Get more discipline in both hands and expand you chord library with 7th chords. This warmup will build your dexterity and help you to play chords in both hands together in all 12 keys. Going Beyond The Transpose Button. 

 

Intro To Melody & Chords

In this section you will learn how to use the basic melody and chords of a song and progress into reharmonization of the melody to create more spicy variations of the music. 

Intro To Chord Progressions

I have also include a few chord progressions to help you put some of the chords you'll learn into action. 

Intro To Ear Training

In this section you will have the opportunity to test the development of you hear via ear training quizzes. Can your hear the difference in Triads, Seventh Chords and Intervals?

31 Day Piano Challenge
